Who is Chris Wesley?
Chris Wesley is a spoken word and music artist, music producer, sound and mix engineer and author. He is currently writing his next book Outliving Emotional Ghettos Wielding a Tec-9 Heart and writing for the companion CD, Like Clutching Faith. Wesley owns the project studio The Cabinet of Curiosities, a two room facility full of hand picked analog and digital gear setup so he can shape the artist’s sound that records or mixes there as clean or as dirty as they want. Along with being a gearslut, he’s a passionate USER of the gear making full use of technology and in some cases stretching the bounds of what the equipment is made to do.
Chris also runs an entertainment company Artistic Agenda. Publishing books and releasing spoken word and music is just part of the Wesley’s mission to build and be part of a thriving artistic community that can separate the creative process from monetary aspirations without ignoring the fact that making money on art allows the artist more time to create.
